Privacy Policy
How SmallEnterpriseD may collect, use, share and protect information when you browse, contact us or use interactive features.
Who this policy covers
This policy describes data handling associated with the SmallEnterpriseD website. For privacy-related questions or requests, use our Contact page. It applies to the website and its associated forms and tools; third-party retailer websites have separate privacy notices.
The site operator should confirm its legal business identity, contact details, any analytics and marketing integrations actually enabled, hosting region and retention settings. Those details cannot be determined from the website design alone.
Information that may be collected
- Information you submit: name, email address, selected contact topic and message content when using the contact form.
- Newsletter information: email address, sign-up or confirmation status, consent records and unsubscribe preferences if you choose to subscribe.
- Assistant questions: messages you enter into the AI assistant, along with technical information necessary to provide or protect the feature.
- Technical data: IP-related connection information, browser/device details, timestamps, error data and standard server logs used for security and service operation.
- Website interaction data: cookies or similar identifiers needed for WordPress, consent, user preferences, forms, security and, where enabled, analytics.
Please do not send passwords, financial account details or sensitive personal information through the contact form or AI assistant.
How information may be used
We use information for purposes such as responding to inquiries, managing requested newsletters, delivering the interactive AI assistant, preventing abuse, monitoring website reliability, maintaining accurate consent records and improving the usefulness of our content.
Where applicable, processing may rely on your consent, the need to provide a requested service, legitimate interests in running and protecting the Site, or a legal obligation. The appropriate legal basis depends on the information and your location.
Service providers and external destinations
The Site is built with WordPress and hosted using a website hosting provider. Depending on which features are enabled, submitted information or website requests may be processed by email delivery providers, OpenAI for AI-assisted interactions, anti-spam/security tools, analytics providers, and image services such as Unsplash or Pexels. Their practices are described in their own notices.
When you click a product affiliate link, you leave SmallEnterpriseD and visit Amazon or another retailer. That destination may collect information independently through its website, cookies and account systems. We do not receive your Amazon checkout or card details simply because you click a link.
Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe, we may send emails about newly published guides, product research and related website updates. The Site’s newsletter system can use confirmation and unsubscribe controls. You may opt out through the unsubscribe link included in marketing emails. Unsubscribing does not necessarily delete prior consent evidence retained for compliance or abuse prevention.
Storage, security and retention
We use technical and administrative measures intended to help protect data, but no website can guarantee absolute security. Information is retained for the time reasonably needed to deliver the requested service, handle inquiries, maintain relevant security or consent records, and meet applicable legal obligations. Actual retention periods should follow the Site’s configured plugin settings and operating policy.
Information may be processed in different countries when third-party infrastructure or services are used. Where required, appropriate protections should be implemented for cross-border processing.
Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, object to certain uses, withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with an appropriate privacy authority. Use our Contact page to submit a request. We may need enough information to verify that the request relates to your data.
Children and updates
The Site is designed for general product-research audiences and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us. We may revise this notice when data practices or service providers change, and the date above will reflect an updated version.
